it is not as busy as other places.
Why I Love Arran!
13.6.11 I was born in Irvine Hospital. That day I came home and went to my house in Murray Crescent. I’m glad that my mum and dad brought me to Arran because it is much quieter. I Love Arran because the schools are smaller and you get to know people quicker. This year I am going into Arran High School. I have already got loads of friends at high school and loads of friends in my year. I also love Arran because if you want to go a ride down the village on your horse it isn’t as busy. Also if you want to go down the beach on your horse it isn’t jam packed with people. I love Arran because you can go out later at night without anybody kidnapping you. On the mainland I wouldn’t be allowed to go out at night in case anything happened.
I also love Arran because every few months the screen machine comes over and you can watch movies that are new out. I also love Arran because when it is nice and sunny you can go and jump off the pier without millions of boats coming in. You can also go in the sea and swim. In November there is something called the ‘Lamlash Splash!’. I really love Arran because we do horse shows here. Only 30 people usually come so it is easier to win rosettes and trophies. On the mainland there would be millions of people competing.
